// About SECTOR 7

An open archive for unanswered questions.

SECTOR 7 is an independent, source-cited investigative archive of unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP). We publish primary documents, verified sightings, official footage, and on-the-record testimony — and we treat the subject the way it deserves to be treated: seriously.

// Editorial standards

Every entry in our archive points to a primary or reputable secondary source — government records, FOIA releases, sworn testimony, peer-reviewed papers, or established investigative journalism. We do not publish anonymous claims as fact. We do not aggregate rumor.

When evidence is contested, we say so. When something is unknown, we say so. "Unexplained" is not a synonym for "extraterrestrial."

// Methodology

Sightings are scored on a 1–5 credibility scale based on five factors: witness type, independent corroboration, instrumentation, duration, and official acknowledgement. Reports submitted by the public enter a moderation queue and are reviewed before being marked as approved.

// Scope

The archive is global by design. We currently track cases across more than 30 countries, with primary-source documents from the United States, United Kingdom, France, Brazil, and others. Full localization (Italian, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese) is in progress.

// What we are not

SECTOR 7 is not a conspiracy site, an entertainment platform, or a paranormal blog. We don't sell merchandise, we don't run sponsored content disguised as reporting, and we don't trade in unverifiable insider claims.

// Contact & tips
